You’re not brushing long enough
While it’s recommended that you brush at least 2-3 minutes, few ever make it to that. Most people brush for only a minute as they are in a hurry to go to work or go to bed. Next time, set a stopwatch at 3 minutes before you get started.
Using the wrong toothbrush
There is a misconception that a toothbrush with hard bristles will clean your teeth better. Nevertheless, these brushes can damage your enamel and expose your gum line. Opt for a soft-bristled brush to minimize damage. Remember to replace your brush after 3 months.
